Topick is a place where you can create lists of your top things called Topicks. Each Topick ranks its items according to everyone's list so you can see the best of everything according to everyone. Topick lets you get to know your friends better by seeing top items they share with you and by comparing lists you have in common.

No, we do not believe in posting to anyone's facebook without their permission.

To log in, you must register with your Facebook account or register with Topick. It is prefered that you log in with Facebook as you will have access to more features. To log in with Facebook, click the "Connect using Facebook" button at the top. To register with our website, click the "Sign Up" link at the top. Use the "Log In" link at the top to log in with your registered account.

When inside a Topick, click the blue "Vote" link or the green "Make This List" button. Once your list is made, you can acess it by clicking the "My list" link.

First check that the Topick you want to make doesn't already exist? If it doesn't, click the "Create Topick" link in the header. Then type in the name of the Topick you want to create and click "create". Lastly, choose an item type for this Topick

This is the type of item that can be added to the Topick. For example, the item type for the Topick "Best Iphone Game" is "game" and the item type for the Topick "Best Movie Of All Time" is "movie". Some lists are not limited to a specific type of item. In this case, select the "This Topick can contain any type of item" link at the bottom of the Item Type form.

After typing the name of the Topick and clicking create, a new window will slide into view for selecting the Topick's item type. The item types at the top, if any show up, are predictions for the item type based on the Topick's title. If none of these fit the type of item, more popular suggestions are listed below. You can search through all the item types by typing in the "search all item types" field. If the item type you are looking for doesn't appear after searching for it, click the "use item type as the item type" link to create the new item type you wanted. Some lists are not limited to a specific type of item. In this case, select the "This Topick can contain any type of item" link at the bottom of the Item Type form.

Only the members of a private Topick can see the Topick and vote on it. Only the creator can add members.

You have to be the creator of the private Topick. If you are, click the "add members" link in the sidebar above all the current members.

Your reputation is based on your activity. Adding images and making lists will increase your reputation. If you add innapropriate content or spam, your reputation will drastically drop.

Each person's list in a Topick contributes to the overall order of the items. Each place in a person's list adds points to that item moving it up on the list. The amount of points rewarded for each place exponentially decays as its rank increases.

When inside a Topick, click the "my list" link next to overall list.

When looking at your list, click the "hide my list" button in the upper right corner.

When your list is hidden, your vote still counts but no one else can see your list or that you even voted.

Click on your name in the header and a drop down menu should appear. Then click the "logout" link. Note: this will also log you out of Facebook.

You have to be logged in through Facebook and then you can post comments at the bottom of each Topick.

Click on your image in the header. Alternatively, click on your name in the header, and then the "profile" link in the drop down menu.

Notifications let you know when a friend joins Topick or when you are invited to a private Topick.

Click on your name in the header and a drop down menu should appear. Then click the "notifications" link.
